The Central Queensland Family History Association Inc. (CQFHA), was formed on the 21 May 1986 as the Central Queensland Genealogical Association, in Rockhampton Queensland Australia, as a non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit making association to accommodate the growing demand for genealogical records for family history research throughout the Central Queensland area.
In late 1990 the name was changed to the current one to better represent our coverage.
The association has its own club rooms in Rockhampton and holds many family history records of the Central Queensland, and other areas.
We have researchers available who are willing to research your family if they came from this area. There is a charge for this service for non-members.
